- Description
- The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) New Orleans District has�the following requirement: DESCRIPTION WORK: Sand Placement Contract #1 (SP1) consists of clearing and grubbing, stump removal, placement of sand fill to EL. +3.0 in a marshy area, and other incidental work.� The base contract is 3075LF, Option 1 is 1540 LF, and Option 2 is 1335 LF, for a total of 5950 LF if all options are exercised.� West Shore Lake Pontchartrain Access Road �J� off HWY 61 (between the Bonnet Carre Spillway and HWY 51) will be utilized for access to SP1. In accordance with DFARS 236.204, the magnitude of the work is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Amendment: Sand Placement Contract #1 (SP1) is being changed from a Request for Proposal (RFP)�to an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The new Solicitation Number will be W912P822B0029.
