Description
PRESOLICITATION and SITE VISIT This is a pre-solicitation notice. Proposals will be solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Michigan River Bridge Replacement project. The Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests and Thunder Basin National Grassland intends to issue a solicitation for the removal of a temporary ACROW bridge single reinforced single land truss bridge and install a single span steel beam superstructure with timber running planks and micropile foundation on National Forest System Road (NFSR) 792.1 -0.1 over South Fork Michigan River near Gould in Jackson County, Colorado (latitude 40.501970�, longitude -106.022007�). A site visit is being conducted prior to solicitation as the site is expected to be inaccessible prior to the actual solicitation and award of the project. This is not a solicitation and in no way commits the Government to award a contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract(s) based solely on this site visit nor does it intend to pay for any costs incurred in response to this announcement. The intent of this notice is to ensure that prospective vendors may see the site and proposed work prior to heavy snowfall and issuing the solicitation. This solicitation is anticipated to be issued in May of 2022. The solicitation and associated attachments will be posted in approximately 30 days. Drawings and specifications will be provided at time of solicitation issuance. A site visit is planned prior to issuance of the solicitation. ����������� Date: May 20, 2022 � � � � � � Time: 10:00 a.m. MT ����������� Location: Michigan River Bridge Project Location: The Michigan River Bridge located on National Forest System Road 792.1, south of Highway 14 near Gould, Colorado. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a proposal and to be considered for award.
