The Government proposes to acquire, on a Five-Year Indefinite Delivery Requirement (IDR) contract, a minimum quantity of 168 each up to 900 each maximum of a COUPLING, TAIL ROTOR; NSN: 1615-01-154-7077 Part Number: 7-211350004-3 (19E203- 2ACL97) applicable to the AH-64 Apache weapon system. Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 168 each, 810 Days After Contract Award (DACA). PLT without First Article Testing is 168 each, 540 DACA with deliveries to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA, 17070-5002. This item is restricted to The Boeing Company, CAGE CODE: 8V613 (48T42) Goodrich Corporation, CAGE CODE: 99551 This item has an AMRC Code of 1B and must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2) having only a limited number of responsible sources.
