- I. OVERVIEW This is a Request for Information. This�is not�a Request for Proposal. The Library of Congress is hereby issuing a Request for Information (RFI). All interested and qualified businesses are encouraged to respond to this notice in accordance with the instructions addressed herein.� II. REQUIREMENT SCOPE The Library of Congress requires contractor support for the repair, refurbishment, relapping, and replacement of audio tape machine magnetic heads from manufacturers Studer, Otari, Scully, Ampex, and 3M. In addition to these services, the contractor must be capable of performing the optical alignment of the audio heads on their corresponding headblocks to ensure the proper function of the machine. The Library intends to award a contract with one (1) base year and up to four (4) option years to fulfill this requirement.� III. INFORMATION REQUESTED Interested businesses are requested to provide information regarding their capacity to meet the requirements in the Statement of Work. These responses should include information on the business's capability to provide such services. This could include personnel, facilities, technology and access to manufacturer equipment, and expertise.� Specifically, businesses are requested to provide the following information, where applicable: Company name Comapny address Primary company contact and associated email address Company website Company CAGE code Personnel/Staff expertise, including resumes Estimate pricing Any other information deemed relevant by the interested business IV. SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS The infromation must be submitted in writing. The total submission shall not exceed 15 pages. Any questions regarding the RFI must be submitted via email to Contract Specialist Colleen Daly Cabral at cdaly@loc.gov and Contracting Officer Tiffany Lucas at tluc@loc.gov. Questions must be submitted before the end of the RFI period. Answers to questions will be uploaded to SAM.gov.� Responses to the RFI must be submitted by email to�Contract Specialist Colleen Daly Cabral at cdaly@loc.gov and Contracting Officer Tiffany Lucas at tluc@loc.gov by May 6, 2022 at 12:00pm eastern time. Responses not received by the closing date and time may not be considered or reviewed.� Please note: Businesses are not required to answer or comment on all content contained in this RFI in order to respond to this notice. Interested businesses are encouraged to share as many ideas and suggestions to all or some of the topics presented herein.� V. OTHER This RFI is for Library informational/planning purposes only. This announcement is not a request for proposal; it does not constitute any form of solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Library. Any submissions in response to this RFI are not an offer nor proposal and the Library is under no obligation to make any award as a result of this announcement. No funds will be provided by the Library to pay for preparation of submissions in response to this announcement. All responses to this RFI are strictly voluntary.
