Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8, intends to procure a replacement Philips Ultrasound System for the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center (548), 7305 N Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410. The authority for restricting competition on this procurement is VAAR 813.106-70(b) and VAAR 819.7007. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to Alliant Enterprises, LLC Manufacturer: PHILIPS HEALTHCARE Address: 22100 BOTHELL EVERETT HWY BOTHELL,WA 98021-8431 Phone: 800-225-0230 Qty Product 1 NNAP665 Affiniti 70 G System The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is (334517) and the Business Size Standard is (1000) employees. The West Palm Beach VAMC Imaging department requires a replacement of the current CX50 Ultrasound system with an Affinity 70 Ultrasound System. The current ultrasound system is at the end of its life cycle, and may cause delays to patient care if the equipment fails. Delaying award will have adverse impacts on patient care at the West Palm Beach VAMC. The estimated base value of this acquisition is approximately $ 43,000.00. The estimated award date is on or before 5/9/2022. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 1:00 PM (EST) on 5/6/2022. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that any other manufacturers ultrasound system would be advantageous to the Government in fulfilling this requirement. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Government.
