THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL � The Defense Health Agency (DHA) National Capital Region-Contracting Division (NCR-CD) on behalf of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) Gastroenterology Hepatology Service Department of Medicine, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Given Imaging, Inc., 3555 Koger Boulevard, Suite 200, Duluth, GA� 30096.� The anticipated delivery date is 30 days from date of award. The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, FAR 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source.� The contract is intended to meet the Department of Medicine requirement for PillCam SB3 pills system devices, which can only be supplied by Given Imaging, Inc. The NAICS code for this requirement is 339113 � Surgical Appliance and Supplies, with a size standard of 750.� This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations.� Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged.
