Description
STATEMENT OF WORK Surgical Service Temple OR- ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection Sys (NPS) Introduction/Background The Central Texas Veterans Health Care System (CTVHCS) Surgical Service Temple OR requires the purchase of a new ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection Sys (NPS) and ENROUTE Transcarotid Stents. This equipment is used for procedures on patients in the Temple OR at CTX Veterans Health Care System. This system provides excellent plaque stabilization without compromising conformability. Objectives To obtain the following items for the Temple OR Surgical Service: ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection system is used with ENROUTE Transcarotid stents for TCAR procedure on CTX Veterans. This system and stents provide direct carotid access with robust flow protection during angioplasty and stenting. The ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection system provides leverage for surgical principles of neuroprotection like avoiding unprotected manoeuvres, maintaining exquisite control of the carotid bifurcation and blood flow also removing embolic fragments of many sizes. But this can now be done in a less invasive manner that mitigates the risks of surgical complications like cranial nerve injury and wound complications. While providing the patient with an aesthetic result and a quicker recovery by using the ENROUTE Transcarotid Neuroprotection system and Stents. All items must be covered by manufacturer s warranty and procured through a manufacturer approved distribution channel.
