Description
I. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC), 2002 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030, intends to solicit and Sole Source a Firm-Fixed-Price contract with a base year and four one year option periods with one Large Business (LB) source, Sun Nuclear Corp., 3275 Suntree BLVD, Melbourne, Florida, 32940. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, parts, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide maintenance support for the Sun Nuclear System. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Size Standard 22M III. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition, as authorized by FAR 6.302-1 and in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b). The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract, in accordance with FAR 16.202-1. IV. The anticipated award date is June 1, 2022. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract V. Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes and is being posted for informational purposes only. Interested contractors in addition, shall provide the following information as an attachment to your response: 1. Does your company possess all license/certification for Sun Nuclear Corp proprietary service materials? Contractor shall attach authorization letter to be viewed by the government to be considered as part of this Notice of Intent response. 2. Does your company possess the capability to obtain software and parts if required for Government Sun Nuclear System? Contractor shall attach authorization letter to be viewed by the government to be considered as part of this Notice of Intent response. 3. Does your company possess evidence as an authorize vendor with certified technicians to meet all government requirements and objectives for the Sun Nuclear System? 4. Contractors shall also provide their point(s) of contact name, address, telephone number, and email address; and the company's business size, and Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number. 5. Do you plan on responding to a solicitation for this requirement with a Joint Venture utilizing multiple owned companies as majority or non-majority owner? Yes ___No ___ If yes, please identify which companies are considering a Joint Venture and the ownership of each company. VI. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement within Ten (10) calendar days of the publication of this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested parties shall submit clear evidence with the capability to provide the following requirements per the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). To include but not limited to: Capability to maintain the PROFILER 2, Daily QA 3, and ArcCheck systems. These systems are all necessities for Radiation Oncology to continue to provide care for Veterans. maintenance required to keep systems/equipment in operating condition in accordance with manufacturer specifications service loaners for down systems full hardware warranty software license renewals full access to all new software releases by OEM telephone and web-based technical support updated user manuals and reference guides VII.
