This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 �Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items,� as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-NIAID-2124782 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)2022-04 January 30, 2022. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811219, Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair & Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $22 million. The requirement is being competed full and open competition, un-restricted and without a small business set-aside. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a requirement for: The Laboratory of Allergic Diseases (LAD) conducts basic and clinical research on immunologic diseases with an emphasis on disorders of immediate hypersensitivity, which include the spectrum of classic allergic diseases.�The purpose of this contract is to a provide full on-site service agreement for a base plus 4 option years to cover LAD-utilized Bio-Rad manufactured ddPCR and ADG machines against breakdown.� Requirement: CSP MNTH, Digital PCR w/ AutoDG OS MONTHLY - Digital PCR System W/Auto DG, 1 yr FULL ON-SITE Complete Support Plan. Unlimited repair inclusive of travel, parts, and labor. Computer not covered. Includes Auto Droplet Generator and Droplet Reader. 1-Preventative Maintenance visit included. Serial numbers: 771BR5595 / 773BR 2317 Full on-site service agreements offer unlimited on-site repair visits, including parts, labor and travel expenses, during the service agreement coverage period. Repair service is defined as covered equipment requiring service as a result of the equipment not performing to factory specifications; repair service assistance may be provided via telephone, remote diagnostics or at vendor service center, or an on-site visit by OEM certified technicians. One preventive maintenance visit is provided, upon customer request, during the service agreement coverage period; the preventive maintenance visit may be performed and combined with a repair visit. Response time of 3-5 days after vendor receives notice of the malfunction from the customer and determines an engineer dispatch is required. If applicable, turnaround time of 5-7 business days from the time of instrument receipt of vendor service center. All Maintenance Service shall be furnished between standard business hours, Mon � Fri, excluding U.S. federal holidays This agreement does not cover user required care and maintenance of the instrument, if any, and it does not cover consumable items. PC coverage is not included; in the event of PC service, if required, re-installation of Bio-Rad provided software and PC re-configuration is covered by this agreement. All Maintenance Services must be performed in accordance with OEM published standards and guidelines. A Request for Quotes for one (1) Base Year of 12 months and four (4) subsequent 12-month option years is being requested for this service.� The multi-year renewal periods of performance for the base and options are: 06/01/2022 � 05/31/2023, Base Year 06/01/2023 � 05/31/2024, Option Year 1 06/01/2024 � 05/31/2025, Option Year 2 06/01/2025 � 05/31/2026, Option Year 3 06/01/2026 � 05/31/2027, Option Year 4 **NOTE:� If you are not holding the current agreement, please include any pre-inspection or recertification field service costs as required for a prerequisite.
