- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) supports the Naval Sea Systems Command engineering Heavyweight programs. �In support of these programs, this requirement is for the repair/redesign/production of Fast Compact Flash (CF) PCI Mezzanine Cards (PMCs).� �This procurement is being processed using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be posted for less than 15 days in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(2).� Request for Quote (RFQ) number is N66604?22?Q?0287. This procurement is being solicited as a Sole Source requirement to Alacron, Inc. as concurred with by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Office of Small Business Program (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541990; the Small Business Size Standard is $16.5M.� The basis for determining the sole source is due to Alacron�s Fast CF PMCs being the only cards that can meet the requirements for compatibility with both the GD Fanuc G4DSP-XD3 and Curtis Wright Champ AV5 Virtual Memory Extension (VME) boards.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement in the future.� �Full text of incorporated FAR/DFARS clauses and provisions are available at www.acquisition.gov/far. The required Period of Performance is ten (10) weeks after date of award, F.O.B. Destination. �NUWCDIVNPT intends to award a purchase order to Alacron, Inc. for the production, redesign and repair of Fast CF PMCs, as detailed in the attached minimum requirements and the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) below, on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis. The CLIN structure is identified below: CLIN 0001:� Alacron FastCF PMC Repair, thirty (30 each);� CLIN 0002:� Alacron Redesign and Layout of FastCF PMC, one (1) each; CLIN 0003:� Alacron Redesign Laminate and Assembly of FastCF PMC, one (1) each; CLIN 0004: FastCP-PMC-M Ver 3.0 with 16GB Flash, Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP); fifteen (15) each; CLIN 0005: Fast Vault PMC Compact Flash Card; fourteen (14) each; CLIN 0006: Fast Vault PMC Compact Flash Card; fourteen (14) each; CLIN 0007: Fast Vault PMC Compact Flash Card; seventy-two (72) each; CLIN 0008: Shipping FOB Destination Offerors shall provide a point of contact (including phone number and email address), Offeror CAGE Code and shall include a validity date of no less than 60 days from due date for receipt of offers.� Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the latest Federal Acquisition Circular.
