Description
The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the non-personal services of Patient Administration Clerk services to support TRICARE Operations and Patient Administration (TOPA) Flight at the 8th Medical Group (8 MDG), Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, by scheduling patients for medical appointments by following the 8 MDG Appointment Booking Protocols, checking-in patients for their medical appointment, and entering health care access data into the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) and/or the Military Healthcare System (MHS) Genesis. �During business hours when no data entry, appointment scheduling or checking in patients takes place, the contractor shall assist with medical records maintenance (a core function of patient administration). �The Appointment Booking Protocols will be provided by the 8 MDG Required qualifications include, but are not limited to: -�� �Education: �The Contractor shall submit High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency certificate. -�� �Experience: �Patient Administration Clerk shall have at least one (1) verifiable year of experience for medical administration, medical office management, medical scheduling, or medical practice management within the last five (5) years. -�� �The Patient Administration Clerk shall be proficient in English for reading, speaking, listening, and writing. �Contract personnel shall be capable of effectively communicating with patients and the MTF staff. -�� �Verification of English Proficiency: 1)�� �Documentation of Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) with a score NOT less than 750, which was obtained within last three (3) years OR� 2) �English class credit points from a College or University (at least one (1) credit); OR 2)�� �Proof of minimum of one (1) year working experience in a U.S. Government job position within the last� five years. If the Government, at its sole discretion, determines that the language skills of the contract personnel does not meet the language proficiency required of the position, the Government reserves the right to require the Contractor to provide new contract personnel that does possess the required language proficiency required of the position, at no additional cost to the Government. This requirement is for a one-year period of performance, 1 July 2022 through 30 June 2023, plus four one-year options, plus the FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. �The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 561110 and the annual size standard is $8M. �This solicitation package will be available on the SAM.gov website (http://SAM.gov/) approximately in May 2022. �No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled. �The Contracting Officer is Ms. Kanoe Sing-Ching, (808) 438-5135, kanoelani.c.singching.civ@mail.mil, and the Contract Specialist is Ms. Charis K. NOTICE TO OFFERORS All sources may submit a quote as applicable. �However, the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United�States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), may preclude the U.S. Government from granting�Invited Contractor or Technical Representative Status to any offeror, for this requirement. �All�sources submitting a quote, including U.S. sources, must already have OR confirm their ability to obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the ROK Government, and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws, including but not limited to, rules and policies regarding labor, taxation, and immigration. � If an initial quote does not fully demonstrate this authorization and capacity, it will not be further considered for award. Whether an offeror demonstrates this authorization and capacity shall be determined by the�Contracting Officer.� �
