Description

The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Naval Special Warfare (NSWC) at Naval Amphibious Base Coronado has a requirement for network services to offer its members access to SOCOM Information Enterprise Network (SIE) during the workday. Annual recurring service is required to maintain this connectivity. This includes uninterrupted network monitoring, enhanced network security features, and maintenance of the communications link between SIE and the internet network.� The requirement is for the network backbone including but not limited to 50 Meg Layer 2 transport circuit and fiber connection to required locations on NAB Coronado and Naval Air Station � North Island. This requirement is for a one-year base period of performance with four, one-year options. COX California Telecom LLC, CAGE 66AT6 is the only source capable of providing these services as they possess the base fiber connectivity between buildings. Given this, this sole source acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The Limited Sources Justification will be posted under this synopsis. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 517311 and the small business size standard is 1,500 employees. This synopsis shall not be construed as a RFP or an obligation on the part of the Government.
