Description

THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A NOTICE OF SOLICITATION ISSUANCE. The US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) intends to issue a sole source contract to Select Tech Services Corporation to obtain continuing communication, connectivity and sensor systems support.� The contract will also accomplish real-time on-site functional support including design, fabrication, modification, integration, bench test, flight test, field support, demonstrations, facility upgrades, system maintenance and calibration, experimental development, data processing and analysis, system analysis and specialized services at Building 620 and Building 628, Wright Patterson AFB, OH.� The contract also calls for work performed at temporary duty (TDY) work locations including United States military installations within and outside the continental United States and at Contractor facilities.� The contractor provides the necessary personnel to accomplish the missions described above. This acquisition is the follow-on to FA8650-19-C-4100, awarded 28 May 2019.� This contract will be awarded based on the Justification and Approval under FAR 6.302-1 �Only One Responsible Sources or Limited Number of Sources and No Other Supplies of Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.�� A Justification and Approval for proceeding with this acquisition under Other Than Full and Open Competition will be posted within 14 days of any contract award, in accordance with FAR 6.305 (a). This synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or a Request for Proposals (RFP) nor does it restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. �This notice of proposed contract action is posted in accordance with FAR 5.203(a).� The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse firms for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. �Due to security access requirements, foreign participation is not permitted at the prime contractor level.
