Description
THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY RESPONDENTS TO THIS TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY. The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division at Patuxent River, MD announces its intention to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for Opticis modular matrix main frame with input and output cards that are required for the MQ-25 Test Transportables. The MQ-25 is a system of systems that integrates the first operational carrier-based catapult-launched Unmanned Air System (UAS) with existing aircraft carrier (CVN) systems and command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) Systems. It will provide a long-endurance Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) and robust organic refueling capability, coupled with incremental precision strike, for the Carrier Air Wing (CVW). MQ-25 will significantly extend the effective mission ranges of CVW assets, alleviate the current Carrier Strike Group organic ISR shortfall, and preserve F/A-18E/F service life. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5 will be utilized for this commercial acquisition. Please see attached draft Statement of Work (SOW), for specific requirement details and quantities. Capability Statements will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided nor return any information provided. Offerors must ensure that their firm is registered with the System for Award Management (SAM). For further information, please refer to https://sam.gov/content/home. Responses and capability statements shall be sent via email to: Marilyn Retzler, Marilyn.m.retzler.civ@us.navy.mil
