SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION NOTICE Long Range Ethernet Replacement THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) OF 517311, WIRED TELECOMMUNICATION, WITH A SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD OF 1,500 EMPLOYEES IS TO BE USED FOR MARKET ANALYSIS ONLY TO DETERMINE THE AVAILABILITY OF POTENTIAL SMALL BUSINESS CATEGORIES FOR POTENTIAL SET-ASIDES. NO AWARDS WILL BE MADE FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT. NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME, THEREFORE, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. ALL RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR FUTURE ACQUISITION. The result of this market research will contribute to determine the method of procurement. Based on the responses to this sources sought/request for information notice, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. �All small business set-aside categories will be considered. F. E. Warren AFB, Wyoming is conducting market research to identify potential sources that have the ability to meet the requirement in Attachment 1 � Statement of Work. �All services will be performed on F. E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. Requirement Includes: Contractor to provide a Long Range Ethernet system replacement and install/configure for F. E. Warren AFB, WY � IAW Attachment 1 � Statement of Work. Equipment required is the Actelis networks ML2300 system brand name or equal with the following salient characteristics: � 2- Service Data Unit (SDU) 450 � 2- Mean Length of Utterance (MLU) 64 with power rectifier � 41- Mean Length (ML) 624i Customer Premises Equipment (CPEs). � Four Rack Unit (RU) high � 6 slot environmentally hardened platform � Supports 32 to 256 copper pairs (64 pairs/RU) and up to 128 customers (links) per chassis � Interface slots must be equipped with up to two SDU (control, switching and aggregation) module cards for redundancy � 4 MLU (modem) access cards � Allow carriers to offer higher bandwidth per pair and longer reach per service in real world environments along with the most stable and reliable transmission � Aggregation switches must offer advanced clock transmission mechanism to ensure best clock accuracy and reliability over copper or fiber networks � Easy integration into existing carrier/enterprise networks � Supporting advanced Ethernet features along with comprehensive spectral compliance All interested parties are invited to send a capability statement that will briefly describe how your company can satisfy the requirement described above to the following: elizabeth.caballero@us.af.mil �and to trisha.lamarr@us.af.mil.
