- MICC, Fort Carson, Colorado intends to award an unrestricted sole source contract to Miltope Corporation, 7037 Old Madison Pike, Huntsville, AL 35806 for: CLIN 0001 QTY 13 EA Description: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform the Maintenance Support Devices (MSD) repairs as defined in this Performance Work Statement except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. Miltope Corp. is the company that originally developed the system for the Army. In addition, the equipment that is needed to be repaired is highly specialized.� This is a sole source procurement under �FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The proposed contract action is for Maintenance Support Devices (MSD) to be serviced to become re-operational. The Government intends to solicit or negotiate with only one source. Miltorpe Corporation (NAICS) Code is 334111 and a size standard of 1,250 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, however; any vendor that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contract Specialist within 2 business days from the date of the publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in SUFFICIENT detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed above. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source negotiation. Responses are due 11 May 2022 16:00 MST.
