- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NOTICE: The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ), 89243322QFE000299, for the purchase of a Wire Drawing and Pointing Equipment per attached Specifications. This requirement is being solicited on an unrestricted full and open competition. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 333517 and the business size standard is 500 employees. All responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Interested vendors are strongly encouraged to submit their quotation on the attached RFQ Standard Form (SF) 18, and provide all supporting documents, as necessary, via the FedConnect portal at www.fedconnect.net, by May 27, 2022 at 5:30 PM ET indicated in Block 10 of the RFQ SF-18. EVALUATION: Selection will be based on the vendor�s quotation that is considered technically acceptable with the lowest firm-fixed price quote. The Government anticipates issuing a single award from this RFQ. Vendors shall submit descriptive literature detailing features, technical capabilities, and warranty data, as necessary. Technical acceptability shall be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this RFQ. The technical acceptability determination will be based on the quotation(s) with the specifications identified within this RFQ and per the attached specifications.
