- 99 Civil Engineer Squadron Water Well Study Request for Information� This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE / REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) issued on behalf of the 99th Civil Engineering Squadron (99 CES) at Nellis AFB, Nevada. This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, or Request for Quotations. Description The 99th Civil Engineering Squadron (99 CES) Nellis AFB, Nevada requires the investigation of existing site conditions and recommends associated repair and/or replacement projects to restore the installation Water Wells #1, #6 and #7 to a fully functioning state. This project will require a firm that can (i) perform the well investigation, (ii) conduct the well sampling, (iii) interpret the results, and (iv) provide a professional engineer licensed in NV who can prepare preliminary design recommendations. Attached to this announcement is a Draft Statement of Objectives (SOO). The SOO includes the general requirements that will be expected of the selected contractor. The purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research regarding the interest and capability to fulfill this requirement. It�s an opportunity to facilitate discussion in an effort to fine tune this requirement prior to an anticipated issuance of a Request for Proposal. Does this experience include knowledge of local geology and the history of groundwater and recharge in the Las Vegas Valley with an ability to interpret pump test results and potentially determine impact on nearby wells? 11.�� �Does your company have experience in completing well inspections, drawdown tests, and condition assessments of water infrastructure for federal facilities? 12.�� �What North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes would be applicable to this service?
