- Description
- The AFRC/A4 is seeking to purchase Barcode Inventory Tracking System (BITS), which manages inventory used for warehouse operations.� The BITS application manages inventory by placing barcodes on items and collecting information by scanning those barcodes with a handheld terminal.� It was designed specifically for Contingency Equipment Management Facility (CEMF) operation.�No other known software system has the capability to provide increment and container breakdown of kits for civil engineer UTCs.� This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), Soliciting From A Single Source.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.� For information regarding this purchase, please contact David Bathe at david.bathe.1@us.af.mil or Thomas Bellamy at thomas.bellamy@us.af.mil.
