- The Indian Health Service (IHS), Portland Area Office intends to award one (1) firm fixed price purchase order for Diagnostic radiology Services that includes technical and professional components to a single source, Salem Radiology Consultants P.C. in pursuant to FAR subpart 13.106-1(b). The Chemawa Indian Health Center, Western Oregon Service Unit (WOSU) needs very specific deliverables from the radiology services. The contractor will complete and interpret the imaging requested by WOSU medical providers, and provide interpretation to our providers to use in their clinical decision-making. The contractor must be within 20-mile radius of WOSU to WOSU patients for the patients to travel to the clinic to receive medical care. The location of the radiology partner must be in Salem, OR for patients to easily access the services ordered by their WOSU provider.� The radiology services that are needed include x-ray, mammography, ultrasound and, ultrasound guided needle biopsy. The Portland Area Indian Health Service complies with the Buy Indian Act as well. This rule supplements the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The only known source available that can complete the contract requirements is the Salem Radiology Consultant, P. C. The estimated period of performance is from 06/01/2022 to 05/31/2027 including four (4) option terms. The NAICS code is 621512 and the small business size standard does not apply. No solicitation document exists for this requirement. No responses to the notice of intent to single source are anticipated.
