- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1), with PDES, Inc. located at 325 N. St. Paul St. STE 3100, Dallas, TX for annual membership in the PDES Consortium. Sole source determination is based on the need for membership in PDES, Inc. an international industry, government and university consortium committed to accelerating the development and implementation of standards for product exchange in the Digital Enterprise.� Membership in the PDES Consortium is only available to purchase directly from PDES, Inc.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 813920- Professional Organizations. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, responses received by listed response due date/time will be considered by the Government.� All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted via email to January.magyar@nist.gov so that they are received no later than May 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. Each response should include the following Business Information: Contractor Name, Address, Point of Contact Name, Phone Number, and Email address Contractor UEI Contractor Business Classification (i.e., small business, 8(a), woman owned, HubZone, veteran owned, etc.) as validated in System for Award Management (SAM).
