- Rio Puerto Nuevo Project Notre Dame Street Bridge No. 2145 Replacement and Channel Improvements Sta 195+000 to Sta 198+000 Supplemental Contract 5A San Juan, Puerto Rico THE PROVIDED DOCUMENTATION IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL OR BID. BE ADVISED. This notice provides DRAFT documentation for Plans and Specifications pertaining to a future procurement for Rio Puerto Nuevo Flood Control Project. The DRAFT documents are provided for INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. All documents released as part of this notice are deemed DRAFT for purposes of the aforementioned future procurement. Only versions of the Plans and Specifications provided with the release of an ACTUAL SOLICITATION (and amendments thereof) shall be utilized by the Government for source selection purposes. Be advised that not all documents released as part of this notice are marked as DRAFT: It is the responsibility of interested parties to refer to versions of the Plans and Specifications released as part of an ACTUAL SOLICITATION when submitting bids or proposals on the future procurement. The Government may consider comments and inquiries while preparing the final plans and specifications; however, the Government is not seeking bidder/offeror comments and may not provide responses to inquiries. The Government reserves the right not to incorporate comments or any suggested changes. The following is a description of the upcoming procurement: The work for the Rio Puerto Nuevo Project Contract 5A includes the replacement of the existing Notre Dame Street Bridge and construction of a new Maintenance of Traffic (MOT)/Pedestrian Bridge. Work also includes excavation of the existing channel, constructing a concrete drilled shaft tangent wall with concrete facing, scour protection consisting of gabions and riprap, and replacement of approach roadways. Other work shall include utility relocations and curb and sidewalk construction. Construction will require installing temporary metal sheet piling channel diversion and earth retention structures. Although bidder inquiries or contractor questions will not be answered at this time, the Government will address such inquiries/questions upon issuance of an actual solicitation. THE PROVIDED DOCUMENTATION IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL OR BID.
