Description

The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville ( FLCJ),FL intends to�issue a sole source award utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Rolls-Royce Marine North America�for MT30 Electric Start System (ESS) drive cabinet assembly in accordance with (IAW) Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards. Rolls-Royce Marine North America is the only source that can provide this�requirement because they are the OEM for MT30 ESS drive which is required to start the engine and certain components in the ESS that are contained in the drive cabinet assembly proposed for procurement are single pointfailure components in the ESS. Those components include the ESS drive cabinet Circuit Card Assembly and the SKiiP module.�Rolls-Royce Marine North America has full proprietary rights for all its systems, parts, and designs.�Rolls-Royce Marine North America does not have any distributors within the United States that sell MT30�ESS drive or its parts.�The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that these items fall�nder is 333611; Turbine and Turbine Generator Set Units Manufacturing.��his notice of intent is for information purposes only. All sources eligible to provide this requirement must� respond in writing. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence to clearly articulate the ability�to provide this requirement as outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered as an affirmative response. If no responses�are received, within ten calendar days after publication of this notice, to the effect thatcomparable items are available, and that it is more advantageous to the Government than obtaining this product through a sole-source contract, then a sole source acquisition award will�be made.� Responses to this notice is to be sent to yvette.junius@navy.mil�
