Description

Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), to provide Support Technical services for repairs to CVN Emergency Diesel Cast Plate Air Box Cover. The required items are for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice.� � Prospective bidders are required to be authorized Technician by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The personnel provided for this contract shall possess qualifications that satisfy the minimum guidelines for OEM. The requirement will be solicited using other than full and open competition.� The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 336611. The Product Service Code is U009. The subject requirement is in support of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard's (NNSY) Propulsion Engineering, Code C268. The one-month base period of performance for this acquisition is anticipated to begin on 18 August 2022 to September 1, 2022.� The contract will includ the option to extend services up to an additional six months in accordance with FAR clause 52.217-8, Option for Additional Services.� The total anticipated contract period of performance is one (1) year.
