Description
This announcement constitutes a Pre-Solicitation Notice/Synopsis in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2. The Government intends to issue a formal solicitation via a Request for Proposals (RFP) in accordance with FAR 15, following this announcement, on or about 15 days from the publication of this announcement. The solicitation and if applicable, any amendments, shall be posted on SAM.gov. Responses will be due 30 days after the solicitation is posted, unless extended through an amendment. There may be a question and answer period/pre-proposal conference before proposals are due. Interested offerors must be active in SAM.gov at the date and time proposals are due to be eligible for award. Proposals submitted by contractors without an active record in SAM.gov will not be considered. The U.S. Forest Service plans to solicit offers for a single award, Firm-Fixed Price contract type with an estimated magnitude for the base and options between $250,000 and $500,000. The Government anticipates awarding a sole contract for Madison Arm Road Improvements in Custer Gallatin National Forest in Gallatin, MT. �Additional awards, at Forest Service discretion, may be considered depending on Forest Service need and results for proposal evaluations.� Prospective offerors are required to submit proposals in accordance with the forthcoming solicitation. Scope of Work: The scope of this project is to prepare the road surface (by grading, watering, and rolling) and install commercial source aggregate surfacing on Madison Arm on the Hebgen Lake Ranger District, Custer Gallatin National Forest.� Work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform road work on the road specified herein.� All work and equipment shall be in compliance with the terms, specifications, and provisions of this contract.� All equipment shall be in good operating condition and shall be operated by competent, experienced operators experienced in the work. This opportunity is set aside for total small businesses. Location(s): The project is located approx. 4 miles north of West Yellowstone, MT on the Hebgen Lake Ranger District of the Custer Gallatin National Forest. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract.
