Description

Expressions of Interest Sought The U.S. Government currently occupies office and related space in a building under a lease in Ocala, Florida that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space ONLY if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replications of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. The VA intends to continue occupancy in accordance with (IAW) authority outlined in GSAR 570.402 Succeeding Leases. Requirement: Seeking to lease 4,119 in Ocala, Florida for use as Veterans Center with at least 20 onsite parking spaces.  A lease up to 20 Years with 5 firm years and no options and with termination rights after 5 years firm term.  The lease space must be ready for occupancy no later than March 31, 2024.  Space must be within or fronting on the following boundaries will be considered (Delineated Area):  North: W Silver Springs Blvd South: S Pine Ave East: 80th St./SW 19 Ave. Road/ 66th Street/ SW College Road West: 60th Ave   Expressions of interest shall include the following: Building name, address, and age Location of the available parking spaces Building ownership information Amount of parking available on-site; include its cost of the expected rental rate per space Date of space availability   The above requirements must be satisfied to submit an expression of interest. If any of the above requirements are not met, your expression of interest will be considered non-responsive and will not be accepted. Your responses are due on or before May 27, 2022, at 2:00pm EST.
