Description
Please review the attachment ""HQIMCOM EVCS Request for Information REV1""�for the full RFI. The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center (CEHNC), in support of the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) and Army Material Command (AMC), is seeking information on how many interested and qualified EVCS vendors could provide off-grid charging stations to meet the Government�s FY22 need.� The Government requires delivery and installation of the charging stations as soon as possible.� The following are the required charging station salient features: Level 2 charging capable with SAE J1772 J-Plug (or compatible plug) Standalone and scalable EV charging solution, quickly deployable No engineering, construction, installation, or utility connection requirements No foundation needed but ground anchor connection ready.� Zero impact or changes to parking layouts Battery storage with minimum capacity of 40 kWh with 240-mile range Temperature control for use in ambient temperature ranges of 0-120 degrees Fahrenheit Comply with Buy American Act Additionally, the following are desired but optional capabilities: Trickle charge ready to supplement low sun hours.� Generating/storing clean energy Charging multiple vehicles simultaneously Access control features, including fob, badge, or card access Emergency power panel Network capability with remote monitoring and maintenance services RFI Whitepaper/Capabilities Statement. The RFI whitepaper/capabilities statement should be as a Microsoft PDF document and due NLT 25 May 2022, 1700 EST. The whitepaper response and or/capabilities statement is limited to 5 single-sided pages and submitted via e-mail only to the Government Point of Contract (POC): Audrey Maack, Contract Specialist, Audrey.M.Maack@usace.army.mil. The RFI whitepaper should address the following: Whether the respondent is a vendor or manufacturer: If a manufacturer, whether the Government can make a direct purchase; or If a vendor, what product would be provided and whether it meets all salient features listed in Paragraph 1.0, If an authorized seller of any specific brands, please list those accordingly. All salient features and optional capabilities, Location of the manufacturing facility Manufacturing and delivery lead times (specifically from order to delivery and installation for up to 500 total units), Elements that cause derated performance (i.e., number of vehicles charging, weather, location, etc..), Maintenance requirements, Method of installation, How would the charging station be used after completion of the final plan (i.e. would the Government eventually be able to tie-in the charging station to the power grid at a later date after installation.� If not, what could the Government do with the charging station), and Any alternative methods for off-grid charging stations that might meet the Government�s need.
