Description

This NOTICE OF AWARD OF A NON COMPETITIVE ORDER is conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 8, Required Sources of Supplies and Services. The authority for this award is FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B), soliciting from a single source; Purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The United States Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) a requirement for renewal of Lexis Plus online legal research services. The RRB issued a task order to LexisNexis DBA RELX, 1150 18th Street NW 301.442.7564 Suite 600 Washington, DC 20036 the exclusive supplier of Lexis Plus. THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE IS TO SATISFY THE REQUIRMENTS OF FAR SUBPART 5.2. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, all responsible parties who identify their interest and capability to satisfy this requirement may be considered for next year�s procurement. No solicitation will be issued, therefore, all requests for the solicitation will be considered non-responsive. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via e-mail to Mr. Michel Disalvio at michel.disalvio@rrb.gov, within three (3) days of the published date of this notice. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. All RRB contractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to execution of award.
