Description
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Immigration Records and Identity Services Directorate (IRIS), Identity and Information Management Division (IIMD)) is soliciting for Live Scan Equipment Refresh and Operations and Maintenance Support (Live Scan). This requirement is to provide new Livescan system hardware, which is prebuilt on a Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) basis, and government provided software that must be installed on-site. To include nationwide on-site installation and integration services, remote government Virtual Private Network (VPN), software maintenance, remedial hardware maintenance, preventative maintenance, software enhancements, technical support (toll-free telephone hotline), training (on-site user/ on-site systems administrator), standard commercial warranty, shipping, and removal/disposal of old equipment at the 130 Application Support Centers (ASC). USCIS intends to award a single award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ); orders will be firm fixed price. The anticipated ordering period is July 2022 � July 2027. It is anticipated that USCIS will place an initial order for the live scan systems immediately following contract award. USCIS will place an order for maintenance annually and will want the ability to place orders for additional live scan systems at any point in time over the course of the five-year ordering period. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334118, Computer Terminal and Other Computer Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing (this includes biometrics system input devices manufacturing) The policies and procedures of FAR Parts 12 and 15 will be used.� Selection under the solicitation shall be based on a best-value tradeoff evaluation. Questions are to be submitted by close of business, 3:00 p.m. EST, on 06/02/2022. No questions or inquiries will be accepted by telephone.� Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available. �All future information about this acquisition, and any amendments, will be distributed solely through the SAM.gov site.� Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Proposal Volume 1 and 2 and Attachment H shall be submitted by the due date in block 8 of the SF1449 (06/10/2022, 5 p.m. ET), along with a request to participate in Oral Presentation and Technical Demonstration The Department of Homeland Security Acquisition Planning Forecast System (http://apfs.dhs.gov/) number for this effort is F2021054866.
