- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Project Title: Purchase two Low Temperature Hot Food Holding Cabinets for the Southern Arizona Healthcare System. Description: Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System is seeking to purchase two Low Temperature Hot Food Holding Cabinets for the Southern Arizona Healthcare System. Project Location: Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System, 3601 S 6th Avenue, Tucson, Arizona 85723 Solicitation Type - Number: Request for Quotes (RFQ) - 36C26222Q0998. Set Aside: This solicitation is issued as a Service-Disabled Veteran owned Business set aside. Applicable NAICS code: 333414, Heating Equipment (except Warm Air Furnaces) Manufacturing Small Business Size Standard: 500 employees Type of Contract: Firm Fixed Price Period of Performance: 60 days Delivery Date from award date. GENERAL SCOPE The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) has a requirement to purchase two Low Temperature Hot Food Holding Cabinets for the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to satisfy the needs of each ordering activity. This procurement is solely to procure the materials/hardware purchase. No services or labor required. Required items are Alto-Shaam 1200-UP Low Temperature Hot Food Holding Cabinet or equivalent possessing the salient characteristics listed below. Salient Characteristics Low Temperature Hot Food Holding Cabinet Must meet or be equivalent to the following specifications. Double compartments Reach-in configuration Stainless steel interior Each compartment has solid state electric control and LED display that can: Achieve a temperature range between 60 degrees Fahrenheit to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Has a heat recovery system that can react immediately to loss of heat when door is opened. Each compartment capable of handling 190 pounds of product or a volume of 120 quarts Four 5 casters, two rigid and two swivel with brakes. Window doors, right hinged Anti-microbial handles Door venting Stainless steel shelves Dimensions: can fit in a space measuring 76 x28 x34 (height x width depth). Voltage: 120V, single phase Standard one year warranty, parts and labor The pictures below are to provide guidance to the vendors only. Delivery Delivery shall be within 60 days of award The vendor must coordinate with the VA Point of Contact to schedule the delivery. The vendor must clearly tag and label the items with the contract number and Purchase Order (PO) number. The vendor must include equipment manuals with delivery The units shall come with a minimum 3-year manufacturer s warranty covering labor and parts of manufacturing defects.
