- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source to L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (L3Harris) Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC PAC) intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract on a sole source basis to L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (L3Harris) under the authority for other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1: Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. L3Harris Technologies, Inc Unique Entity ID: N91TELG3HNB6 CAGE Code: 24930 7821 Orion Ave Van Nuys, CA, 91406-2029 The requirement is to provide technical services necessary to maintain and upgrade system software and hardware requirements prior to and during system installations, and throughout the system support period for the AN/FPN-68A Precision Approach Radar (PAR). Required services include engineering changes to resolve numerous hardware and software discrepancies, depot level testing, evaluation and repair services, radar system and test equipment procurement assistance and on-site technical and engineering assistance for the analysis and resolution of deficiencies in AN/FPN-68A PAR, and peripheral systems and equipment interfaced with the AN/FPN-68A. The applicable PSC is J059. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330 and the business size standard is $41.5 million. The anticipated period of performance will be five (5) years (to include two (2) year base period and three (3) one (1) year option periods). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any responsible source believing that it can fulfill the requirement of providing this service may be considered by the agency. Interested parties shall identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis, and must clearly show the firm's ability to be responsive. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
