- Description
- The Air Force intends to award an Indefinite Delivery, Requirements-type contract with a 2 year Basic and four one-year Options for the manufacturing and production of the Class A and B Flight Line Tow Tractor(s), 1740-01-068-8945YW (Class A) and 1740-01-452-4117YW (Class B), as described by CID A-A-59312E and SOW. Quantity:� Basic Period � First Article Production 1 Class B FLTT. Normal delivery rate should be no less than 25 units per month. Award will be made utilizing the Tradeoff Process Source Selection Procedures. A competitive acquisition will be accomplished utilizing trade-off source selection procedures, in accordance with FAR 15.3 as supplemented by the DoD Source Selection Procedures (Apr 2016) to make a best value award decision. Tradeoffs may be made between past performance and cost/price with past performance being considered approximately equal to cost/price. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to all required terms and conditions, includes all the required representations and certifications, meets all the requirements set forth in the RFP and also provides the best value to the Government. The contractor shall provide 1 Class B FLTT First Articles for First Article Government Testing only. Delivery of production first articles shall be within 180 days of contract award. The contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with the shipment of first articles. The contractor shall notify the Government of shipment 30 days prior to shipment.
