- The Daniel Boone National Forest is issuing a prospectus to solicit applications from interested parties for a concession (campground, day use, boat ramp and possible cabin) special use permit to provide high-quality public service for the operation and maintenance of government-owned recreation facilities located in the Cumberland Ranger Districts.� The following recreation facilities will be included: � � �1. Twin Knobs Campground � East group use area, West group use area, Tent group use area. � � �2. Zilpo Campground � � � �� � � �3. Koomer Ridge Campground � � �4. Clear Creek Campground/Picnic area � � �5. Claylick Boat-in Campground � � �6. White Sulphur Horse Camp � � �7. Boat Gunnel Branch Group Campground/Picnic area The average gross revenue (2019-2021) was $1,205,155 per year for all facilities combined.
