- Description
- The purpose of this requirement is to purchase 500 online surveys given to graduates. The CCAF graduates over 10,000 students each class and every two years a survey is sent to a sampling of the graduates using the ETS test battery. The ETS is proprietary and has been the sole source for CCAF's proficiency testing for the past eleven years. In addition to providing the test battery, ETS performs trend analyses comparing current results to previous years. Due to the proprietary test battery, another agency could not use historical data from ETS, as they would not have access to the ETS test battery that the data is based on. 1) Providing 500 Abbreviated Form ETS (Educational Testing Services) Proficiency Profile online exams. 2) Provide access to customizable reports. 3) Provide unlimited access to all special reports for the duration of the Premium Package Subscription. 4) Score both Online and hard copy tests. 5) Provide aggregated and individual score results within 3 weeks after ETS receives the last test data. 6) Assist CCAF by periodically identifying test locations that have and have not submitted test data to ETS The ETS test battery is proprietary and has been the sole source for CCAF's proficiency testing for the past eleven years. In addition to providing the test battery, ETS performs trend analyses comparing current results to previous years. Due to the proprietary test battery, another agency could not use historical data from ETS, as they would not have access to the ETS test battery that the data is based on. ETS provides a single test battery that assesses seven core skill areas: critical thinking, reading, writing, mathematics, humanities, social science, and natural science. Although CCAF has access to the raw data, the question bank is proprietary to ETS. Using its unique test battery, ETS test and provides a comparison of CCAF's current and past analysis to 88 other two-year community colleges across the nation that also use the ETS test battery. This comparison is crucial to CCAF because it clearly indicates that CCAF students consistently score higher than their civilian counterparts, thus fulfilling a major SACSCOC accreditation requirement.�
