This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) award and an anticipated award date is set for June 8, 2022. The intended Contractor is the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, The Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine, Box 1070, One Gustave L. Levy Place, York, New York 10029. The Contractor shall provide an external academic event for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System department of VA Geriatric Research Education Clinical Center (GRECC). The proposed period of performance shall be from September 20, 2022 through September 23, 2022. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 611310 Colleges, Universities, And Professional Schools. The Product Service Code for this requirement is U008 Education/Training-Training/Curriculum Development. The estimated value of this contract is $112,330.00. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Any response to this notice must be received by June 7, 2022 and show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
