Description

NOTICE OF INTENT The 502d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph (JBSA-Randolph), TX intends to award a sole-source purchase order to FLIR Detection, Inc. 1024 S Innovation WAY, Stillwater OK 74074 for the removal and replacement of a generator installed in a SkyWatch tower ICX7010002.� The SkyWatch tower was purchased in 2010 and manufactured by ICx Technologies who was later acquired by FLIR Systems and Teledyne Technologies.� The generator is physically attached to the tower and tied into the tower�s internal electrical systems. To ensure the continued safety and seamless operation of the tower, the electrical and hydraulic systems and generator need to be serviced by FLIR, the only authorized provider.� This proposed contract action is for products and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i).� Interested entities my submit clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to fully meet the requirement to the individual(s) identified in this notice no later than June 6, 2022 1:00PM (CDT). � The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice. If parties choose to respond, any costs associated with the preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://sam.gov/content/home
