- Description
- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Infoglide Software Corporation located at 9500 Arboretum Boulevard, Ste 450, Austin, TX 78759. The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition at 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) implemented by the FAR Subpart 6.302-1 entitled ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."" The contract is for the continued maintenance support services for Bladeworks software, a core component of the Secure Flight (SF) system, and will provide 24x7x365 technical assistance, new release upgrades, break fix support, defect repairs, software updates, as well as onsite support services on an as needed or on-call basis. The period of performance will be one base year and four 1-year option years. Bladeworks is a commercial proprietary software manufactured and maintained solely by the original developer Infoglide Software Corporation. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for proposals or quotations. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice within 15 days of its publication by email to the points of contact below. A determination by the Government to not compete the proposed action is based on responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
