- This is a pre-solicitation notice for MCC�s Sierra Leone Compact: Agriculture Productive Use of Energy Consultancy (PUE) requirement. The objective of this special notice is to facilitate an opportunity for industry to provide feedback on the draft Scope of Work (SOW) to improve the clarity of the requirements, and to solicit responses to questions prepared by MCC regarding this requirement (see below). Please review the attached SOW and the following MCC questions for industry.� Provide all responses, comments, and clarification questions to both POCs listed below at your earliest convenience, no later than 2:00PM EST, June 8, 2022. MCC questions for industry: General Please identify all GSA Contracts your company holds and are relevant to this requirement. Please indicate all SINS, Pools or Constellations that are applicable to this requirement. Please indicate the NAICS code you believe is most appropriate for this requirement. Please indicate the size of your business. Please specify all socio-economic categories that apply to your business. Do you provide this service or product commercially? Requirement Specific Does your firm have experience conducting field research in Sub-Saharan Africa?� If yes, how many years� experience? Does your firm have experience conducting desk and field-research oriented toward government-funded international development program design? # of years? # of studies? Has your firm produced mixed-method quantitative/qualitative studies, market surveys, market mapping exercises, identifying investment-ready agribusiness market opportunities in Sub-Saharan Africa? # of years? # of studies? Has your firm conducted quantitative assessments of profit-oriented value-addition opportunities along agricultural value chains? # of years? # of studies? Has your firm studied the use of power (on and off-grid) as an input in the agri-business agro-processing sector? # of years? # of studies? Has your firm conducted feasibility studies oriented toward quantifying the electricity needs required for processing, value-addition, and/or value-preservation along agricultural value chains? # of years? # of studies? Please identify whether there are any aspects of the requirement that your firm would need more clarity on to provide an offer. NOTE: MCC expects to launch this procurement in early to mid-June 2022.� MCC anticipates the contract to be awarded in/around August 2022.
