Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service (NPS), Blue Ridge Parkway, will be contracting to demo a property called the Hodges Farm, in Floyd, Virginia. Ultimately, the goal of this project is to divest the park of unneeded buildings and demolish excess structures within a 17-acre agricultural parcel (1Q-137) and a 0.25-acre life estate. The site would be returned to open fields as part of the park's agricultural leasing program. This project would abandon and demolish: � B1047 (FMSS 110708), Two-story, single-family dwelling (1900 sq. ft); � B1048 (FMSS 110710), one large barn; � B1049 (FMSS 110712), one small barn; � B1050 (FMSS 110713) three-sided horse shelter; � Remove all fencing within the parcel (except for the external fencing needed for cattle); � Remove gravel road that accesses the property. This proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside procurement. The NAICS code is 238990 All other Specialty Trade Contractors and the size standard is $16.5 million. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of this requirement is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation, plans, and specifications are expected to be posted on or about June 15, 2022. The solicitation will be available for a minimum of thirty (30) calendar days once posted. This is a Presolicitation Notice. The Solicitation will include information on how to obtain the plans and specifications. All responsible sources may submit a proposal to be considered by the Agency. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. All interested offers MUST have an active vendor record in SAM.gov, be a small business under the identified NAICS code and NOT have any exclusion such as a delinquent federal debt or debarment. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM): Federal Acquisition Regulations require that federal contractors register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at https://www.sam.gov and enter all mandatory information into the system. Award cannot be made until the contractor has registered. Interested offerors are encouraged to ensure that they are registered in SAM prior to submitting their quote. THESE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE COMPLETED BEFORE TIME OF AWARD. NOTE: No additional information is available until the solicitation is released.
