- The 115th Fighter Wing at Dane County Regional Airport -Truax Field, Madison, WI is issuing an Invitation For Bids (IFB) for award of a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary to construct project XGFG182011 F-35 Add/Alter Building 510 Base Warehouse and Supply. This project seeks to construct a new 5,150 SF warehouse addition, renovate approximately 20,000 SF of existing warehouse, and renovate approximately 8,150 SF of administrative offices to accommodate F-35 supply system requirements to include Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) functions. The facility will receive upgrades to the existing lighting, HVAC, glazing, exterior EFIS, fire detection/suppression, security systems, as well as other facility components. Typical work includes, but is not limited to minor demolition; site utilities/grading/paving; new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology systems; and upgrading the facilities architectural finishes. All work will be in accordance with design requirements, specifications, and drawings provided within the master specifications. This solicitation will result in a single construction contract for both new construction and alterations. The base award Contract Line Item(s) (CLINs) are as follows: CLIN 0001 � F-35 ADAL B510 Base Bid � Renovation CLIN 0002 � F-35 ADAL B510 Base Bid � New Construction CLIN 0003 � Removal of Compromised Soil CLIN 0004 � Lead and Asbestos Remediation In addition to a base price for the work described above, the solicitation includes three options for this project, which are as follows: CLIN 0005 (Option #1) Communication Cabling and Equipment (ISP) CLIN 0006 (Option #2) Replace Existing Windows CLIN 0007 (Option #3) Temporary Facilities This project will be solicited as unrestricted.� The HubZone preference in accordance with FAR 19.1307 applies. All responsible offerors are encouraged to participate. A Small Business Subcontracting Plan will be required to be submitted by the apparent low bidder prior to award.� The contract duration is 365 days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.� The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000 average annual revenue for the previous three (3) years. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. BRAND NAME: This project requires a brand name specific product. Justifications are posted and attached to the solicitation. The brand name products included in this acquisition include the following: Andover DDC Software Marshall Best Security Corp. premium YB series keys and cores Monaco Vulcan Fire Alarm Panels Award will be made to the responsive and responsible lowest bidder.
