Description

The USPFO for CA intends to award a single firm-fixed-price contract for construction services to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary to perform and complete the project to Construct C-130J Flight Simulator Facility for the 146th Airlift Wing. The project constructs a newly completed facility that will encompass approximately11,225 sq. ft. consisting of a simulator hangar high bay and general-purpose shops, supporting administrative spaces, and mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and telecommunications rooms.�A formal solicitation will be posted with specifics at a later date. Magnitude of this project is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00 Construction/contract completion time is 400 days after notice to proceed to include inspection and punch list. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220. The small business size standard is $39,500,000.00. This action is being procured as a 100% Small Business set-aside. Interested offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). To register go to www.sam.gov. You will need your DUNS number to register. Instructions for registering are on teh web page (there is no fee for registration). Please note that due to recent fraudulent activity, the process for fully activating (and updating) a registration at SAM has changed, and now requires the submission of a notarized letter to GSA. The solicitation and associated information and teh plans and specifications will be available only from the Federal Business Opportunities website on-line at www.sam.gov. SAM is a webbased dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested bidders must register wtih SAM before accessing the sytem. Bidders cannot log into the SAM home page and search for data. There will be a formal public bid opening at a date to be determined.
