- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate and award a sole source delivery order, under BOA N00019-20-G-0005, to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation - Aerospace Systems (NGAS), San Diego, CA. This action is anticipated to redesign the Broad Area Maritime Surveillance Airborne Recorder systems within the MQ-4C UAS. Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and integrator of the Trion UAS. Accordingly, it is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge and experience to provide Triton specific hardware and integration required for these efforts within the program�s cost and schedule constraints. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, �Only one Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements� for the proposed LTB actions.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
