- Solicitation Number: W52P1J-22-R-0053 Closing Date and Time: 1000 Central Time, 15 June 2022 Purchasing Agency: Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) 100% Small Business Set Aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 332312 - Fabricated Structural MetalManufacturing 1. This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation to be issued. 2. This Request for Quotes is issued pursuant to FAR 13 which authorizes the use of simplified procedures for the subject acquisition. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) hereby requests proposed pricing for Twenty (20) Aluminum Rail Spanners; the salient characteristics can be found at Attachment 001. This requirement supports the Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC), 834th Transportation Battalion, at the Military Ocean Terminal Concord, California (MOTCO). INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS 3. It is the Governments intent to award one single Firm Fixed Price type contract. The Government reserves the right to award based on the quality of responses, prices submitted, and the availability of funds. 4. Offerors shall submit proposed prices per single unit, and a total evaluated price. Failure to provide pricing for all required items is unacceptable and may render the Offeror ineligible for award. Quotes must be valid for 30 days. COMPETITION & EVALUATION 5. Quotes received will be evaluated based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis. 6. The Government intends to award without exchanges with Offerors. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct exchanges, if necessary. The Government anticipates receiving competitive proposals and using competition to determine price reasonableness. The Government reserves the right to request data other than certified cost or pricing data, after receipt of proposals, to determine price reasonableness if competition is not adequate. ADDITIONAL GUIDANCE 7. FOB is destination. Contractor is to ensure that the shipping method allows the ability for the Government to track items to the final destination. Delivery shall be made to the following address no later than 60 days after the date of the award.
