- Description
- This acquisition involves a consolidation of requirements IAW FAR 7.107-2 and has been determined necessary and justified. The determination will be posted with the solicitation IAW 7.107-5(c). This solicitation is being issued to establish an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a 3-year base period and two 1-year option periods that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. The total contract period will be five years, if the two options are exercised. Annual price adjustments via an escalation factor will be utilized for a total contract period not to exceed five (5) years. Solicitation will be issued to provide only stock replenishment coverage in support of military depots Under this solicitation, the resulting contract(s) will be Firm Fixed-Price with Annual Price Adjustments, Indefinite Quantity Contract(s) issued under FAR Part 12 procedures and will utilize Other Than Full and Open Competition Procedures as prescribed by 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. These items will be procured in accordance with manufacturer code and part number and is available from only one or a limited number of sources. Currently Section B will contain 39 NSNs managed by DLA Land and Maritime. See Attachment #1 NSN Data The solicitation will be available on or about June 2, 2022, at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, and proposed delivery, surge and sustainment, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. Drawings/specifications will not be available through BSM DIBBS. This proposed procurement includes a family group of various items within the Federal Supply Class 2815, 2910, 3010, 3040, 3110, 3120, 4710, 4820, 5315, 5330, 5331, 5340, 5360, and 5365. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources.
