- Description
- The National Park Service (NPS) has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for award of a lease for the Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina located on Lake Mohave within Lake Mead National Recreation Area. This Lease opportunity provides a prospective operator with a chance to deliver a high-quality, full-service marina experience to its guests in a truly one-of-a-kind location. Facilities and services at Cottonwood Cove Resort and Marina include boat moorage, boat rentals, marina services, land/water-based fuel sales, lodging, food and beverage operations, retail sales, a trailer village, and Recreational Vehicle (RV) sites. The RFP is avialable on the Lake Mead National Recreation Area webpage under ""Get Involved"" and ""Do Business with Us"" (link provided below). The NPS issued the RFP on June 1, 2022 under the terms described in the RFP, with proposals due no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) on September 20, 2022. Any interested party intending to submit a proposal MUST submit an Intent to Submit as described in the RFP no later than August 9, 2022. Additionally, the NPS is only accepting electronic submissions in response to the RFP; therefore, all proposals must be submitted electronically following the instructions in the RFP and must be received by the deadline in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a lease. The NPS will hold a site visit on June 22, 2022. Anyone interested in attending the site visit must RSVP by June 15, 2022, to Kristen_Jontos@nps.gov. � If you choose to retrieve a copy of the RFP please notify Kristen Jontos via email at Kristen_Jontos@nps.gov so you are placed on the mailing list to receive notifications of any future modifications or other correspondence.
