THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS ISSUED SOLELY FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION. This is a Request for Information (RFI), this is not a Request for Quotes (RFQ) or Request for Proposals (RFP). No formal solicitation document exists at this present time. This is not a solicitation announcement. Responses to this Sources Sought notice will be utilized by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is for market research to gain knowledge of potential vendors qualified under NAICS code 334510 and PSC code 6515. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS EXIST AT THIS TIME. Summary of Requirement: A gait lab (gait analysis treadmill with embedded pressure plates, surface EMG and biomechanical motion capture) that will provide accurate and thorough data in supporting clinical gait analysis and training while adding a unique capacity for research data exploration. This equipment will be used within the Sports Medicine clinic under the direction of the Sports Medicine physicians, exercise physiologists, athletic trainers, and physical therapists to diagnose underlying biomechanical movement problems in trainees recovering from their training-related injuries as they are capable of running pain free. REQUESTED INFORMATION If you are interested and capable, and can provide the required supplies/services, please provide the requested information as indicated below, complete and attach the RFI document (attachment #2) with your email: Responses to this Sources Sought notice shall include: 1. Company name, address, point of contact, SAM UEI number, and cage code. 2. Provide business size status and representations (NAICS and PSC code) for the below requested line items. 3. Provide a copy authorized distributor letter if you are not the manufacturer. 4. If Manufacturer, provide authorized distributor list 5. If equal product is available, provide product literature, specification sheets, manufacturer part number, manufacturer name, Manufacturer location. 6. Is vendor registered in SAM (https://www.sam.gov/SAM/)? NOTES All Capability Statements/Responses to this Sources Sought notice shall be submitted via email to: shermaine.de_jesus@us.af.mil Responses to this Sources Sought notice must be received no later than 6/7/22 at 3:00 p.m. (Central Standard Time). This Sources Sought notice is to assist the Department of the Air Force in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it may or may not be announced at a later date, and all interested parties shall respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this Sources Sought notice. Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
