Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue, on a sole source basis, a Request for Proposal (RFP) to D. H. Wagner of Exton, PA for he continued development, operations, maintenance, modernization and incorporation of software for the Undersea Warfare Decision Support System (USW DSS) area/mission planning capability. This contract will significantly expand the effectiveness of today's Undersea Warfare (USW) Command and Control (C2) Systems and interconnected Combat Systems.�� The contract modification will be exempt from the requirement to pursue full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-5: Authorized or Required by Statute. Statute is 15 U.S.C. � 638(r)(1).� The anticipated contract award date will be in Q2 FY23 and the period of performance will consist of a base year and four option years. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. ���All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.� However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. This pre-solicitation notice is for information only and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award of contracts.� The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept proposals as a result of this synopsis.�
