- SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Functions to be performed: The Cabinet Heaters must be able to heat the surrounding area it is sized for and fit the space allowed so the heater will fit properly. Performance required: The Cabinet Heaters must be able to adjust the heat with a low voltage thermostat, isolate the utilities to the cabinet heater to be able to work on it if need, and must have air filters that can be changed out easily for air quality.
