- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source�basis with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Telephonics Corporation (Telephonics), for Telephonics exportable radar systems, sub-systems, spare components, parts, special tooling, test equipment, and incidental sustainment services for existing radar systems that include, but are not limited to repairs, modifications, upgrades, engineering, technical assistance and integration of Telephonics equipment.� Telephonics is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and distributor of the radar surveillance systems and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience and technical expertise to provide the required equipment.�� The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� However, the Government will consider all responses received by the response date and time of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.
