Hamer Contracting Officer QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Q. The RFQ stated, the requested equipment shall be consistent with recent acquisitions of Exam tables/beds/chairs at the Lorain and Youngstown Clinics (Midmark 626) . I don t know what Midmark 626 model was chosen for those clinics. And I want to ensure that I bid on the correct 626 model. Can you please advise as to what 626 model is being requested for the above solicitation? A. The chair is to be 31-33 wide, thus the proper base for a Midmark would be: (similar size for any vendor): Q. Are side-rails and side-rail mounting tables the same thing? Are they arm rests or something different? A. The answer to the above question is as follows: a) side rails/safety rails are required for EACH exam chair, BUT b) accessories are NOT being specified at this time, and the provided description simply was meant to clarify that the rails provided should be compatible with rail-mounted accessories SUCH AS tables or accessory/procedure trays - those are not a part of the requirements. Q. I have attached a Midmark catalog excerpt for the 626 model, which outlines all the different types of bases and upholstery tops that are available from Midmark for the 626 model. Please advise. The Color of the chairs shall be beige or off white or light grey. Q. What is the date for arrival/setup to be done? The date for arrival/setup is able to be slipped out as far as September if needed.
